Mountain
A landform that rises steeply at least 2,000 feet above surrounding land usually wide at the bottom and rising to a narrow peak or ridge
Plateeau
A large flat area the rises above the surrounding land at least one side has a steep slope
Canyon
A deep narrow valley with steep sides of often with a stream flowing through it
Volcano
In opening in our surface through which melted rock's ashes and gas escape from the interior
Isthmus
A narrow strip of land that connects two larger areas of land

A high, flat topped landform with Cliff-like sides; larger than a butte

a body of water that is partly surrounded by land and that is connected to a large body of water
Peninsula
An area of land almost completely surrounded by water but connected to the main land

A low stretch of land between mountains and hills land that was drained By a river
Coastal plains
A coastal plain is an area of flat, low-lying land adjacent to a seacoast and separated from the interior by other features
Canal
long and narrow strip of water made for boats or for irrigation
Cliff
a steep high face of rock
Cape

Iceberg
a large floating mass of ice detached from a glacier or ice sheet and carried out to sea

Prairie
a large open area of grassland, esp. in the Mississippi River valley
Lagoon
a stretch of salt water separated from the sea by a low sandbank or coral reef
