front 1

Helicase

back 1

unzips the double helix

front 2

dna polymerase III

back 2

Adds complementary bases continuously from the 5'-3' direction

front 3

primase

back 3

places RNA primers/flags starting sequence to mark starting point of DNA polymerase

front 4

exonuclease

back 4

removes RNA primers afterwards

front 5

DNA polymerase I

back 5

adds complementary bases to the lagging strand

front 6

Topiosomerase

back 6

prevents supercoiling of the helix

front 7

telomerase

back 7

uses RNA to rebuild telomeres(repeating units of TTAGGG that protect the main DNA)

front 8

Okazaki fragments

back 8

-fragments of complementary dna and rna base pairs on the lagging strand

front 9

DNA ligase

back 9

covalantly bonds Okazaki fragments together
