Levothyroxine (Synthroid)

Thyroid supplementation

PO: administer in morning ac with full glass of water (prevents insomnia)

Foods or supplements containing calcium, iron, magnesium, or zinc may bind levothyroxine and prevent complete absorption.

May increase effects of Warfarin

Increased cardiovacular effects taken with adrenergics
