Newton's 1st Law
An object in motion tends to stay in motion and an object at rest tends to stay at rest unless acted on by some force.
Newton's 2nd Law
Force is equal to an object's mass times its acceleration or F=ma

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

force of resistance an object encounters while moving against another object

Air Resistance
a force that opposes the motion of an object moving through the air, slowing it down due to friction with air molecules.
