To address these issues, the study answered the following questions:

1. What were the lived experiences of small-scale bakeshops in managing their business’s growth and success?

2. How did small-scale bakeshops address the challenges encountered in implementing strategies for business growth and success?

3. From the themes that emerged, what empowerment program could be proposed?

ASSUMPTIONS OF THE STUDY

1. The researchers assumed that small-scale food ventures in Cabuyao, City of Laguna faced diverse and complex challenges and successes in managing their growth, influenced by their unique business environments and resource limitations.

2. The researchers assumed that small-scale bakeshops employed various strategies to address challenges, such as collaborating with local suppliers, leveraging social media for marketing, and adapting product offerings based on customer feedback to enhance their competitiveness and resilience.

3. The researchers assumed that the study’s findings suggested themes such as the importance of continuous learning and adaptation, emphasizing the need for ongoing professional development and innovative practices to sustain growth and capitalize on emerging market trends.
