DRESS
- Drug reaction with eosinophilla and systemic symptoms
- Occurs about 2-8 weeks after med exposure

S/s for DRESS
- Watch for reporting fever and widespread rash
- Facial edema, hematologic abnormalities (low platelets)

- Levetiracetam, clobazam
- Carbamazepine, Lamotrigine, Phenytoin

Gout drugs that cause DRESS
- Allopurinol

Antibiotics drugs that cause DRESS
- Minocycline, Vancomycin
- Sulfonamides: Dapsone, Bactrim

What is SJS and TEN
- Occur within 4 weeks of med exposure
- Skin reaction but TEN is more extensive...with blistering and skin detachment
- Listen for fever, pain, lesions
