Vibration
Vibration means quickly moving back and forth, up and down, or in any sequence about a point of equilibrium. The vibration may have a pattern or can be a random. Something that is vibrating has the ability to shake at the same time.
Pitch
Pitch is the quality of a sound referred by the rate of vibrations producing it, it is the degree of highness or lowness of a tone. In simple terms, it is the intensity of the sound.
Amplitude
Amplitude is the distance between the wave's resting position and its maximum displacement. It is the maximum extent of a vibration.
Loudness
Loudness is the measure of the response of the ear to the sound. Loudness is measured in decibels. Loudness is the property of sound which is used for differentiating between the loud and faint sounds.
Wavelength
Wavelength is the distance from one crest to another, or from one trough to another wave.
Frequency
Frequency is the number of waves that pass a fixed point in unit time.
Oscillation
Oscillation is going back and forth repeatedly between two positions or states. An oscillation can be a periodic motion that repeats itself in a regular cycle.
Intensity
Intensity is the sound power per unit area. Intensity is measured in Watt per meter square.
Wave
A wave is a disturbance that transfers energy and momentum from one point to another in a medium.
